YOUR VISIT

WHAT TO EXPECT

No previous abseiling experience is needed. Allow about an hour for your visit; the descent usually takes 8–20 minutes. Weather and other delays can extend this.

Arrive & check in

Arrive at least 20 minutes before your booked time. Complete your risk acknowledgement; under-18s need signed parental consent.

Meet your instructors

We’ll give you the instruction you need on the day. Ask questions and let the team know how you’re feeling.

Take on the descent

Follow your instructors’ guidance and take on your 400ft challenge. A photo package is available on the day for £30, or included in the £150 special.

What to wear

Long sleeves, full-length trousers and closed-toe shoes with flat rubber soles. Tie long hair back. No loose items or capes; ask us about fancy dress.

How much does an abseil cost?

An individual Extreme Abseil is £115 per person. Our £150 special includes the abseil, a photo package, and a T-shirt. Choose your package on our booking page, or contact our team to discuss group and charity events.

Can I buy photos of my abseil?

Yes. Photos are available to purchase on the day for £30 per photo package. Photos are optional with the £115 abseil, or included with a T-shirt in our £150 special.

Where does the abseil take place?

At the National Lift Tower, Tower Square, Northampton, NN5 5FH. It’s the iconic tower on the Northampton skyline.

Can I abseil for a charity?

Yes. Take on a personal fundraising challenge or contact us to organise a dedicated charity event. Charities can book a block of 1–20 places on an open day, or arrange a dedicated day for up to 50 people. Explore charity event options.

What if I’m nervous?

Speak to us before booking and tell the team how you’re feeling on the day. We know this is a big challenge, and we’re here to answer your questions and support you.

How do I see dates and prices?

Are there age, weight or health requirements?

Participants must be at least 12 years old, with signed parental consent for anyone under 18. Maximum weight is 136kg. See the participant requirements and contact us if you have concerns.
